What Everyone Knows

Since the beginning of time every heart has felt it…

The world is broken. I am broken. Something’s missing. Our human-mammal DNA is somehow incomplete. We feel it. Tragedies, instincts, instability, emotions. Failures, or fleeting and unfulfilling success. Thrilling relationships, followed by devastating brokenness and disappointment. How can I cover it all up, escape it, fix it? Vices, distractions, religion, superstition, fantasies, despair. What is the meaning of it all?

All 100 billion of us, since the Beginning of this construct known as “time” and matter, have encountered and witnessed, and felt it. Personal upheaval and civil unrest, again and again, and again.

We’ll recognize the pattern… if we’re courageous enough to pay attention to ourselves, and humble enough to feel the stories of our fellow passengers, our companions for the short journey here on earth.
